Gabriel was born in Louisiana, raised in Detroit and transplanted from San Francisco to New
York City in 2004. As the Choreographer/Director of projectLIMB, he has performed in Hawaii,
Pittsburgh, Dallas, Paris, Rome, San Francisco, and New York City. ProjectLIMB's work has been
presented in NYC at the Tank, White Wave, The Puffin Room, and Symphony Space. He was a Dance
Omi International Dance Collective Resident in the summer of 2005, and was nominated for four
Isadora Duncan awards (San Francisco's highest honor) in 2004 and 2005. He has had the pleasure
of working with Heather Mcardle, Keith Thompson, Bill Young, and John Jasperse.
