You have reawakened in me my belief that dance can help heal the world.
- Nancy Wolfson-Moche, Board Member, on the workshop that inspired her to join the Board
Healing the world might seem like a heavy burden to put on a dance company. But if you listen to an audience filing out of one of our workshops or performances, you hear the same things over and over again that the company's work made them feel part of something bigger than themselves; the performance helped them understand something new about the world they live in. These experiences are the basis for building communities. And community is the most powerful tool for fixing what is broken around us.
Your support is the company's lifeblood, not only because unrestricted contributions literally keep the lights on, but because at its core, Risa Jaroslow & Dancers is about participation. Your support will help Risa and the Company make new dances and build communities all across New York City and beyond through workshops and performances with groups like Project FIND, serving senior adults on the Upper West Side; Dwa Fanm, serving Haitian survivors of domestic violence in Brooklyn; the Initiative for Women with Disabilities at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and Talbert House serving first time drug offenders in Cincinnati.
When you contribute, you become part of the circle that includes these groups, as well as dancers, audience members, and other communities all over New York City and beyond. You can donate now through this link:

Or by sending a check made out to High Tide Dance, Inc. to 139 Fulton St, Suite 310, New York, NY 10038. Your contribution is tax-deductible. Thank you for your support.
